Watercolour Techniques

We will look at all the basic principles of this fascinating medium;

how to lay down a wash, wet in wet and drybrush techniques, glazing and more

Working in the studio from still life and natural objects.

Suitable for beginners and more experienced painters.​

25th & 26th April

Still Life Painting in Oil

Working with flowers, jugs and fruit, underpainting in acrylic on day 1 and

working up to a finished oil painting on day 2.  Plenty of guidance along the way

Suitable for beginners and more experienced painters.

23rd & 24th May

Plein air painting weekend in any medium

This location has fabulous views and a wonderful garden so plenty to paint.

On Day 1 we will choose our subject and, with compositional and colour studies,

prepare for Day 2 and the completion of a finished painting.

Suitable for beginners and more experienced painters.

Location: a private garden in Longforgan

Cost: ​£215 per person (inclusive of some materials and a light lunch both days)
